The problem of homeless animals is quite rampant in the US. Many animals are brought home, but then are abandoned after owners are unable to handle the responsibility. Shelters can only keep an animal for a limited span of time before they are put down. If you’re thinking of getting a pet yourself, be sure to adopt one and not shop for them.

The following “commercial” was made for Furkids Animal Rescue & Shelter. It took only 30 minutes to shoot and didn’t need a big budget. Despite the low budget and occasionally shaky camera, this commercial went viral overnight! Perhaps it is the humorous way in which Paul Preston presented it or the unusual cover of Sarah McLaughlan’s “Angel in the end, but this really grows on your heart!
